She seamlessly blends her expertise as a make-up artist with a natural inclination for abstract painting - a self-thought skill.

Art, for Kathleen, is an extension of her inner self, intuitive, free and instinctual. In her studio multiple artworks are born and nurtured side by side, each capturing her attention in turn.

Her artistic toolset is diverse, incorporating an array of materials such as plaster, clay, chalk, jute, textiles, sand, and natural pigments alongside acrylics. This mix is masterfully used to forge depth, density, and texture. The artworks evolve through a synthesis of layered techniques, a testament to her dynamic approach.

Starting each canvas with a mindset unshackled by preconceptions, Kathleen allows the interplay of emotions and the artistic process to shape each piece. Her works are the culmination of an emotive journey, a dialogue between artist and art.

Kathleen’s art has been viewed at various art fairs and group exhibitions, notably in Brussels and Antwerp.
